 Mostly Shepherds is a non-profit animal rescue organization that primarily rescues German Shepherds, but also rescues other dogs and cats. All our animals are evaluated by a licensed veterinarian, receive check-ups and shots, as needed, and are spayed or neutered, if necessary. Our goal is to find the "right owner" for the "right pet". We help you find the dog that's best for you!The dogs are housed through the kindness of a generous Kennel owner and some foster families. | ADOPTING A FRIEND: Adoption requirements are references (vet and personal) and an adoption fee which ranges between $175.00 - $300.00. All of our dogs are evaluated, up to date on shots and neutered or spayed. We will loan crates for up to one month when necessary. An on-line application is available. Please note, THE FEES ON THE APPLICATION ARE INCORRECT, THE CORRECT FEES ARE LISTED ABOVE AND DEPEND ON PURE BREED/MIXED BREED, ALSO THE AMOUNT AND TYPE OF MEDICAL CARE THE ADOPTEE NEEDED WHILE WITH OUR RESCUE, ALSO PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS ON THE APPLICATION, WE HOPE TO GET THE APPLICATION UPDATED SOON TO REFLECT THESE CHANGES, this application is a word document. VOLUNTEERING AND DONATIONS: Donations: dog food, leashes, dog bowls, cedar bedding, crates and monetary donations are all welcome. If you have new or like new items you would like to donate, please contact us at our email or phone number so we can arrange a time to pick up/drop off the items. Any monetary donation may be mailed to our mailing address (see below). Volunteers: (especially families willing to harbor our dogs until we find good, permanent homes) are urgently needed to help as many animals as possible.
